In the mid-90s, I attended massage school, and soon heard about the Esalen Institute and its unique approach to massage. I began to study Esalen-style massage through several friends before attending a month-long course at the Institute in 2002. I recently completed Esalen certification training in Bali.
This style of bodywork has been a fundamental part of my practice for more than twenty years. It is an approach that lends itself well to people who see themselves and their lives in a more holistic way. I have attended, assisted, or taught several massage workshops and retreats at Avalon (with Laurene Bradford, her assistant Ellen, and Walter Loeb) over the past twenty years.
I am available for professional massage therapy at Avalon (as well as my primary office in Fairmont, WV). Appointments are made directly with me. When I'm on-site, just find me and ask.
